Sexual Trauma Therapy Kailua-Kona
AbuseSexual abuse comes in many forms, including rape, incest, child molestation, and marital rape. The majority of sexual trauma cases that therapists see are about power rather than sex, we strive to help the victim of sexual abuse regain (or develop) healthy, positive feelings about sex while also building self-confidence and self-worth. Stepping out of the stigma to seek treatment for sexual abuse makes a person strong, not weak!
Dysfunction and Problems with IntimacySexual dysfunction can be the result of emotional, psychological, or physical issues. Talking with a licensed therapist can be the first important step to get you back on track to enjoy sex and have healthy sexual relationships. When it comes to problems with intimacy, you may choose to sit down with me alone to discuss the issue, or you may choose to include your partner in your sessions. We can also do a mix of both types of sessions in order to remove the barriers that are preventing you from getting physically and emotionally close to the person you love.
